guest blogger - “Unity Plan Reveals that Chua Soi Lek Will Take over from Ong Tee Keat” - iloveMCA MCA

November 15, 2009
Today, the MCA briefing at the San Choon Auditorium was filled with pro-OTK supporters who thought that their supreme leader Ong Tee Keat, was going to remain the President of MCA when the storm is over. They were shocked how poorly he looked, when placed next to the charismatic Chua Soi Lek.
OTK’s trump cards today were supposed to have been the introduction of the direct election, and the distribution of goodies (from a minimum of RM10k up to RM40k per division ) which were meant to strengthen his position after he lost his president’s post in the 10/10 EGM.
To the delegates present today, it is obvious that Chua Soi Lek is firmly in the driver’s seat en route to usurp OTK to take over as President of MCA – sooner than stupid OTK thinks.
CSL was full of clarity in explaining the fate of MCA, and the confidence in which he quoted the YAB Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak showed he is a much more closer than UMNO than OTK, and certainly a much more competent public speaker than the OTK.
OTK was bumbling throughout his explanation of the so called Unity Plan which delegates have expressed disappointment that it did not contain any details nor, substance. Most turned up to day expecting they could bring some framework to go back to brief their grassroots. They were certainly let down.
The true test will come if OTK or CSL is the true driver of the party, during the 28/11 EGM……..
Today’s delegates were stunned at the end of the finale of the briefing.
Chua Soi Lek took great pains to appear benevolent in saying that the group calling for the 2nd EGM should be allowed to use the San Choon Hall in HQ.
On the very same breath, OTK defied CSL by saying that HQ should take “all efforts to stop these people from holding the EGM in MCA HQ” and “to instruct the Secretary General to issue letters from the party HQ to ask delegates not to come from the EGM”
What an arrogant bastard! When OTK was the youth chief, he called for an EGM on June 23, 2003 to vote on the purchase of Nanyang shares, with a notice of less than 21 days.
Tun Ling also declared both the EGM and OTK’s resolution illegal. But he never used the party HQ to issue letters to delegates to tell them not to vote. This simply shows the “kiasu-ness” of OTK, unlike CSL.
What is the GREATER UNITY PLAN?
OTK should be so stupid to think that the Unity Plan (GUP) crafted by Chua Soi lek would include his interest. First point to note is that the GUP is Soi Lek’s idea, not OTK’s.

CHUA SOI LEK IS CLEARLY IN THE DRIVER SEAT OF THE GUP!
CSL’s Unity Plan
To allow the EGM to go on while placating OTK’s supporters because he knows he cannot go in without the incumbent, no matter how weak he may be.
He needs OTK because the President MCA (as before) controls the entire MCA machinery, resources and assets. These are substantial resources when fighting a war.
Use OTK’s weakness to prop his own shortcomings ( his DVD and so forth)
Continue to engage the PM’s advisors to convince them that he a capable of uniting MCA and winning the support of the Chinese community for BN in the next general elections.

FINAL SHOWDOWN OF THE GUP IS CHUA SOI LEK TAKES OVER AS PRESIDENT AND ONG TEE KEAT BECOMES THE PATHETIC SIDEKICK DEPUTY PRESIDENT
LIOW TIONG LAI – WE SALUTE YOU THAT YOU SHOULD BE SO LUCKY TO BE THE VICE PRESIDENT IF THAT IS THE CASE!

The skill of lying by Ong Tee Keat

Ong Tee Keat said today in an interview published by Bernama that he is willing to accept Liow Tiong Lai for the sake of the party.
How magnanimous of him.
He also claimed that he had tried to offer an olive branch to Liow through a "common friend" who waited in vain for an answer from Liow at Liow's house on Monday night.
That is an outright lie. No offer was made. There was no offer to make Liow deputy president and Chua Soi Lek the secretary-general.
The fact is OTK does not have the authority to make such offers.
The greater unity plan as he calls it was out together by Najib Razak.
Chua Soi Lek had managed to convince the PM, with whom he has a direct line, unlike OTK, that between the two men, they could control the whole of MCA.
This was a deal made behind closed doors.
The deal, of which details OTK has still refused to announce is this:
-the party will be split up between the two of them.
- party appointments will be made from the supporters of these two men.
- they will guarantee to the PM that peace will come back to MCA.
But the fact is even the PM does not really believe peace will come back to MCA.
Given a choice, PM does not want to have OTK as MCA president. He would rather have his friend Chua Soi Lek but Chua is tainted and can never be made MCA president or even a minister.
OTK knows all of this. He will now lie and do anythinbg necessary to kill off anybody that threatens him.
The truth is Liow, Wee Ka Siong and Kong Cho Ha represents the next batch of senior leaders.
And they are a real threat to him.
During the last CC meeting, OTK had been asked why he lied in public that he had already told Liow the details of the greater unity plan.
He was asked why he proceeded to make all sorts of accusations at Liow. All he did asa usual was keep silent.
That is OTK, the dirtiest mad egotistical MCA leader ever.
For the Chinese community OTK is now destroying any chance the MCA has of regaining their support and votes.
MCA is not just a joke but a disgrace to the Chinese in Malaysia because the name MCA has the word Chinese in it so it becomes a reflection of the community.
If OTK really had any integrity he should have resigned after losing the no confidence vote.
If OTK really wanted to unite MCA he should quit.
It is clear that OTK is the dividing force in MCA.

DAP must be praying Ong Tee Keat stays on forever as the worst MCA president ever

The photograph of a smiling Ong Tee Keat, holding hands with Dr Chua Soi Lek, this week is perhaps the most concrete proof that he is perhaps the most power crazy politician the MCA has ever had.

After all he is the man who started the MCA on what is probably the worst leadership crisis the party has ever faced.

And he started it by going after the head of Dr Chua.

Someone asked me a question the other day: “Why did Tee Keat have to tickle Soi Lek?”

Soi Lek may have been voted in as MCA deputy president in October 2008 and this was not exactly the kind of man Tee Keat wanted to work with.

But the point is Soi Lek was not a real threat to Tee Keat. He was never going to be made a minister. He could not hope to be party president as long as Tee Keat did his job as a leader.

But Tee Keat is not someone who unites. He is someone who divides.

The biggest mistake MCA delegates did was to elect him party president.

In 2001, when he was MCA Youth chief, the party wing saw an all out brawl between delegates at its assembly. That was probably the first sign of what a divisive leader Ong Tee Keat was.

In 2009, the MCA, already abandoned by the Chinese, is now facing its worst ever crisis, And Ong Tee Keat is the president.

Under Tee Keat the party now has three factions – his, Soi Lek’s, and Liow Tiong Lai’s.

In order for the MCA to win back the support of the Chinese, the party must stand united. That is the very basic thing that needs to be done.

Has Ong Tee Keat done that?

His supporters will blame everyone else. They will even come up with their flimsy excuses as to why he should not resign as MCA president.

To them, it does not matter that Ong Tee Keat had actually promised to resign.

So it does not matter that he has broken his promise?

So a man who breaks his promise so easily is still a man who can be trusted?

Since he broke his promise so easily, can he be relied on to keep his promise and not find other ways to break the so-called truce he has with Dr Chua now.

What else has he promised to do?

He has made a pledge to clean up the PKFZ mess? But how can he do so? He is no longer even on the task force set up by the PM.

In the run up to the next election, he will make promises to the Chinese community. He will tell them that MCA will safeguard their interests. Can he be believed? Or will he come up with more excuses.

His mercenaries had gone to town to tell people that Dr Chua was a “porn star” and his taped sex escapades could be used by Umno or other enemies to blackmail him if he remained deputy president.

What about Ong Tee Keat? He now stands as a liar because he said he would resign but now he does not want to.

If you were from the DAP, you would be laughing very hard now. There is an MCA president who says he will resign but breaks his word. In the next election all you would have to do is repeat that about Tee Keat and MCA candidates can kiss bye bye to winning back Chinese votes.

So if you support DAP and Pakatan Rakyat, you will be praying that Ong Tee Keat remains MCA president.

Watch this space for just what kind of a person Ong Tee Keat is.
